Friends’ Annual meeting Wednesday 27 May 6.30 for 7

We are delighted that Claudia Kretzschmar, Co-founder and Director of Growing Green, will be the speaker at our annual meeting to be held at LUX in the Waterlow Park Centre. She will be talking about restoring green spaces and connecting wildlife corridors.

This will be followed by the FoWP AGM. Members have already been sent (30 April) the draft annual report outlining the highlights of the past year – the fifth season of summer concerts, three successful bulb, plant and wreath sales, a second dog show and many other activities all drawing on the invaluable help of our volunteers. We will also look to the future, for example, to the introduction of outdoor table tennis.

Documents for the AGM will be available before the meeting on this website. There are three vacancies on the FoWP committee. Members interested in joining are invited to submit their application by 25 May to chair@waterlowpark.org.uk
