People often wish to commemorate members of their families or their friends who have died by placing a bench in Waterlow Park. What follows is information from Camden Council who must be approached directly with any such requests:

 

London Borough of Camden’s Parks and Open Spaces Service offer a traditional style heavy-duty park bench, 1.8 metres [approx 6 feet] long. Our benches are treated with a preservative and securely installed into position. A stainless steel plaque is fitted to the bench along the top rail with an inscription of your choice. The plaque measures 300mm by 60mm and is engraved and etched with black inlay.

 

The total cost of this service is £733.00.
